We came into Peterborough yesterday. Still running ahead of the stream, though it was windy. Glad we did as the level here went up a good 6" by evening - though it's back down now. Covered the first two steps. Not that will float this boat!!
Suddenly there were boats! But there is a flotilla of 6 hoping to cross the Wash tomorrow. Hmmmmm
They've set off for the Dog & Doublet.
Meanwhile, we are booked to go down onto the Middle Levels.
Rest day today. Outside we can hear the Posh crowd supporting their team in the playoffs. Nice park alongside. Topped up on shopping. All is well.
